Shipping Policy

    We ship Original Delites direct to your door from our small-batch kitchen. This page covers where we ship, how long it takes, what it costs, and what to do if something arrives bent out of shape.

    Where we ship

    We currently ship across Canada and the United States, with additional regions added as our operations expand. If your country isn’t available at checkout, drop us a line β€” we may be able to arrange a custom shipment.

    Processing time

    We pack and ship orders on business days. Most orders leave our shelf within a few business days of being placed. You’ll receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your package is on its way.

    Shipping cost & transit time

    Shipping rates and estimated delivery windows are calculated at checkout based on your address and the size of your order. We offer free shipping on orders above a regional threshold β€” that threshold is shown in your cart.

    Transit times shown at checkout are estimates provided by the carrier. They don’t include our processing time and can be longer during peak periods (Christmas, Black Friday) or weather disruptions. We don’t refund shipping if a package is a few days late.

    Tracking

    Every order ships with a tracking number, emailed to you when the package is handed to the carrier. You can also check the status of any order from your account dashboard.

    Customs, duties & taxes (international)

    International orders may be subject to import duties and taxes assessed by your country’s customs authority. These are the buyer’s responsibility, are not included in our shipping rate, and are not refundable by us if the package is refused on that basis.

    We declare the actual product type and value on every customs form.

    Hot weather shipping

    Our products are stable at room temperature, but we’d rather they not sit in a hot truck for a week. During warmer months, on shipments to hot regions, we may delay an order by a day or two so it ships at the start of the delivery week and doesn’t sit over a weekend. If you’d prefer we ship immediately anyway, mention it in the order notes.

    Address accuracy

    Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We ship to the address you provide, exactly as provided. If a package is returned to us because of an address error or because nobody was home to receive it, we can re-ship it at your cost. If a package isn’t returned to us within a reasonable window, we treat it as lost-by-buyer.

    Lost, stolen or delayed packages

    If your tracking hasn’t updated for an extended period after the last scan, write to [email protected] with your order number and we’ll open a trace with the carrier and either replace the order or refund it.

    For packages marked as delivered but missing, please file a claim with the carrier first β€” they’re usually best positioned to investigate or recover them. If the carrier doesn’t make it right, write to us and we’ll often help out as a one-time courtesy.

    Wholesale & foodservice

    Wholesale and foodservice orders ship on freight with separate lead times and carrier terms detailed in your wholesale agreement. If you don’t have a wholesale account, request one on our Wholesale page.
